History In The Making: The Mitchell Report[Updated: 12/14/07]
I started to read this, but had to quit. It was too engrossing---and sad. Wow.
I'm relieved that Selig commissioned George J. Mitchell for the investigation. I find Mitchell to be a person of integrity. I hope something good comes of his work.
For the record, I stopped reading after completing the section on the un-cooperativeness of the Player's Association. Pathetic.
Cause And Effect? A Humorous, Pre-Holiday InterludeSo the Oregon State University football team is good. They received an invitation to a post-season game this year: they play Maryland in the Emerald Bowl.
One might safely assume that the team is quite vigorous, full of energy. Their mascot is the Beaver---but in the plural. According to NCAA rules, there must be at least 22 of them in activity at any one time.
